Dragon Boating WA (DBWA) are hosting the 2024 Australian Dragon Boat Championships and we are looking for volunteers to help us deliver a successful competition!

The Australian National Dragon Boat Championships, known as AusChamps, is the premier dragon boat paddling event in Australia. The AusChamps attracts approximately 2,500-3,000 competitors from clubs all around the country to participate in club vs club and State vs State races. This is an exciting opportunity for the WA dragon boat community to compete against the rest of Australia in our home State. The event is over five days from Wednesday 17 April 2024 to Sunday 21 April 2024 at Champion Lakes Regatta Centre, an international competition venue located in Armadale.

Day 1 - Seniors (200m) - Wednesday 17 April 2024
Day 2 - Seniors (500m ) - Thursday 18 April 2024
Day 3 - State v State - Friday 19 April 2024
Day 4 - Premiers, Juniors, 24U, BCP+ACP (500m) - Saturday 20 April 2024
Day 5 - Premiers, Juniors, 24U, BCP+ACP (200m) - Sunday 21 April 2024

We are looking for volunteers in a variety of roles. Volunteers will receive a uniform (polo shirt, cap, drink bottle and bag) and food.
