DBWA will be hosting a sweeps workshop for all accredited sweeps, in early September.

The main aim of the workshop is to provide sweeps with a forum to practice their skills, and answer any questions that they may have. The primary focus will be on 2000m race turns, where sweeps will practice different race scenarios. It will give sweeps who do not normally have the opportunity to sweep a 2000m the chance to practice them. 

Sweeps will also have the opportunity to ask about other aspects of sweeping and racing, and are invited to raise their own points of discussion, so that your needs can be met.

Participants are asked to bring two paddlers from their club or another, to attend. This is to provide adequate paddling numbers so that the workshop can run with two full boats of paddlers.
